The most important moments in a child’s life might not be the big-ticket ones. Allisyn Wolfe knows that from experience.
Wolfe, a Big Brothers/Big Sisters volunteer for six years, says her “little,” who is now 16, doesn’t necessarily remember the flashy trips to Kennywood.
“The things that she remembers are things that I thought were very insignificant,” Wolfe said. “She talks about the time we dyed Easter eggs at my house, and we had a spill and dyed the cat’s tail.”
