It is the fourth week of school at Cray Challenges, and academics are in full swing. Students have already been exposed to some relevant curriculum in math, history, science, and social skills. Also, they have just finished the play, “Brian’s Song, “ in English class. Several of our students were selected by Jameson Health System to take part in the Pink Glove Dance in support of breast cancer research. Eleven students and three staff members traveled to The Confluence last week to film the video, which will debut in October at the New Englander.
Students at Challenges are eager to share their summer memories but seem glad to get back to the routine of school. You can hear the buzz of excitement when they climb off of the busses and see their friends. So far, we are off to a great start!
