Everything that we do at Cray comes back to these six words: ‘We make life better for kids’. While it sounds simple – the complexity of challenges that many children in Lawrence County face on a daily basis- certainly is not. There’s a popular saying among people that have been through our programs: “Once a Cray kid, always a Cray Kid”. We take immense pride in this statement. We build relationships with our kids. Relationships with our program participants continue long after they have ‘aged out’ of our programs. After all, it’s the relationships that are truly at the heart of all of our programs.
